Abstract

This work tries to deconstruct the notion of “time” as a scarce resource. It was necessary to denaturalize time as an “exterior” category. In this way, I try to give an answer about the Slow Food Movement in Argentina. This movement’s name is opposed to that of ‘fast food’. It appeared in a moment of “speeding up of society”, a process accompanied by a high technological development and by the alteration of time horizons. In this article I am going to refer to two Argentinian groups, one of consumers united in the convivium Slow Food BAN and another of associated producers from the CauQueVa Cooperative.
