Abstract

The aim of this article is to think about love discourses and practices in teenagers, paying particular attention to the observed continuities, tensions, conflicts and breaks. The results obtained show differences between girls and boys (besides the alternations caused by other factors), coming to the conclusion that the socialization of love reproduces forms of gender inequality. Nevertheless, it could be highlighted the fact that tensions and conflicts exist, which are the key for change.
