Interpretations of certain mechanisms of memory

Abstract

An analysis of the feedback mechanism between art and memory views through the work of three contemporary artists: Cristina Iglesias, Susana Solano and Elena Asins. The evoking power is analyzed through the artistic creation and the appreciation of the landscape as experienced by the Duna of Papua New Guinea in Melanesia. The possibilities of analyzing the fissures in the solitude of memory is presented through the strategy of felt socialization.
