About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Ankulegi (1997-2022) was an annual scientific journal devoted to social and cultural anthropology, with a special focus on research carried out in/about the Basque Country. It was aimed at people with an interest in social or cultural anthropology.

The articles it published were original and previously unpublished and underwent an evaluation through a double-blind study by external evaluators (peer review), thus guaranteeing anonymity. The journal was in Basque, Spanish and French.

The journal was published by Ankulegi Basque Association of Anthropology.
